The SKF Wheel Bearing and Brake Kit enables faster and simpler replacement and ensures a perfect fit through the preset clearance. The precision assembly increases the bearing service life.
The SKF wheel bearing and brake kit facilitates replacement on car models where the bearing is mounted inside the brake drum or brake disc. Since there is no need to press out the bearing with risk of damaging the surfaces, the common problem of noise and vibrations arising from brake replacements is eliminated.
The pre-assembled VKBD ensures a perfect fit between the bearing and the brake drum/ brake disc and eliminates damages to the bearing due to incorrect clearance. The kit also extends bearing service life by reducing the risk of an incorrect positioning of the seal, causing grease leakage from the bearing.
The SKF Wheel Bearing and Brake Kit (VKBD) consists of a brake drum or brake disc with pre-assembled bearings and all necessary components. The kits are available throughout Europe for over 2000 applications on models from car manufacturers, such as VAG, PSA, Renault and Ford.
