Pressure Relief Valve, 1" FTP, 1-3.5 psi
This weight-loaded pressure relief valve offers nonpulsating pressure relief for positive displacement blowers.
The valve is installed in the discharge air stream to prevent damage to
blowers when operating pressures exceed the maximum.
As system pressure approaches the valve set point, the weight-loaded cylinder
is forced up from the valve seat and exposes the vent ports for fast blow-down.
When acceptable system pressures are restored, the valve automatically returns to its closed position.
The valve cylinder and seat are cast iron and machined to very tight tolerances for smooth operation.
